What it is

A small assistant that looks through job adverts for you every morning, picks the few that really fit, and — when you choose one — writes a cover letter and a tailored CV for you to check and send yourself.

It is run by one person for family, friends and people they know. It is not a company and not a recruitment agency.

Who it is for

How it works, in six steps

  1. Join. Leave your name and e-mail. I set up your search by hand.
  2. Tell it about yourself. A short chat asks about your work, skills, languages and wishes — one question at a time.
  3. Get proposals. Each morning a short e-mail lists the adverts that fit you best, with the reasons.
  4. Pick. Reply with the numbers you like ("1 and 3"), or say why one is not for you — that teaches the search.
  5. Check your letter and CV. They arrive as PDFs in reply. Read them, change what you like.
  6. Apply yourself. You send the application. Nothing is ever submitted for you.

What it costs

No fee. If it got you a job, invite me to dinner.
